"My brother and I ate here on a Thursday evening in mid-July. It was a hot & humid day, but we ate on the shaded deck. Had it all to ourselves. Good food, good margaritas, and good service."

"I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food but my son wanted to come here for dinner. I’m not from the area and was just in town for the day visiting him. This meal totally made me rethink my idea of Mexican food, it was sooooo good!!! I had the taco salad and he had fajitas. Even the salsa and cheese sauce tasted better than normal! And the food came out very quickly. I told my son I think that’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had!"

"Atmosphere- 4 stars- very nicely decorated Mexican restaurant. Love the wooden chairs at the bar with carvings in the backs. Lots of room at this location. Lots of tables and booths. Tables are available outside as well. Very clean and comfortable. Service- 4 stars- our server was fast and efficient. Checked on us many times to make sure we had everything. Food came out fast. Employees are very friendly. Food- 4 stars- great Mexican food. Great selection on the menu- not a carbon copy of most Mexican menus- some items I have never seen before. I order the Special Maya- which consisted of my choice of beef, chicken or a mixture of the before mentioned items with Chorizo. I got the Chicken with Chorizo which comes covered with melted cheese. This is served with a side of rice and refried beans. This was an excellent dish and a large portion as well. The Chicken was fajitas style and the Chorizo was very flavorful. Loved the rice and refried beans. We also got the Chicken Fajitas- again very good quality of Chicken used. Highly recommend either of these dishes."

"I'm currently living in Texas, I have a lot of Tex-Mex to choose from, but this was suggested by one of my Lyft drivers, and I like to try local flavor when I travel and so I came here in spite of it being well out of my way. The service was good but not exemplary, and the atmosphere was typical of this kind of restaurant. The bean dip, which is basically just queso with refried beans in it, was one of my favorite things I've ever eaten. The salsa was delicious. Everything else I tried was respectable for a Tex-Mex restaurant. I'm not sure I'd suggest making this a travel destination like I did, but it's definitely worth trying if you're in the area."
